Farmers Market

The West Lafayette Farmers Market is currently in need of additional volunteers to help with various tasks such as setting up, cleaning up, removing trash, and handling recycling.  Lilly Nature Center
Location: Lilly Nature Center
A team of dedicated community volunteers are the backbone of the LNC and Celery Bog Nature Area. The LNC needs more volunteers who can help open the building and provide nature-based educational sessions to families who visit the center. They also seek volunteers to help with several community events.

Wabash Riverfest
Get ready for an unforgettable Riverfest! The staff and volunteers have gone above and beyond to create a fantastic experience for everyone. From fishing and float trips to paddle boarding, there's something for every family. There are activities for kids, teens, and adults so that everyone can join in the fun. West Lafayette Tree Friends

The West Lafayette Tree Friends is a volunteer organization that collaborates with the City to take care of and prune trees located within the City's right of way. They are looking for volunteers to assist with pruning, cleaning up, distributing door hangers, and participating in community events. If your organization or business is interested in coming together for a meaningful team-building exercise, or if you're looking to coordinate a project for FFA or scout groups, please get in touch with Heather Witt at hwitt@westlafayette.in.gov. Keep in mind that organizing and implementing large projects and welcoming service groups may require several weeks or even months to ensure their success. Moreover, some projects may need approval from the Park Board.
