The West Lafayette Police Department has facilitated the RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) program since 2007. The program includes educational components comprised of lecture, discussion, and physical resistive strategies. Participants will learn what to look for and to be more aware of their surroundings.
We will be hosting the next adult women's R.A.D. class Monday June 17, 2024, through Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 5pm-8pm at the West Lafayette Intermediate School, located at 1838 N Salisbury St, West Lafayette.
It is highly recommended you wear gym attire for all sessions. It is a requirement to participate in each class session to participate in the simulation on the last day.
