The mission of the West Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life in the city by providing the best possible recreational facilities and programs for its citizens through effective management of natural, human, and financial resources.
The West Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department has worked tirelessly to keep the Wellness Center operational in a time of labor shortage nationwide. We want to keep some of our buildings open longer, like the Lilly Nature Center. We want to increase the hours in the pool. We know there is a need to add more swim lessons. We know our community desperately needs us to offer more child care programs. We want to do all of these things so we can make our community stronger, but we need more smiling faces with a passion for our mission.
Please invite, share and encourage circle of friends to join our team.
