The Boat, Sport and Travel Show runs from Feb. 20 through March 1 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Coastal program seeks board members
The Indiana DNR Lake Michigan Coastal Program is seeking nominations for all 13 voting members of the Coastal Advisory Board.
Members represent the coast area’s various stakeholder groups and provide program input. Nominations are due by Feb. 27. Address questions to coastal@dnr.IN.gov.

It includes a Historic Haypress demonstration at 1 p.m., Dutch-oven cooking, tomahawk throwing, blacksmithing and more. • Civil War Winter in the Pioneer Village at Spring Mill State Park on Feb. 14-15 with a winter tactical battle re-enactment at 2 p.m. each day. • Valentine’s Day Hike on Feb. 14 at Charlestown State Park features a 2.4-mile, two-hour hike with views of Fourteenmile Creek and the surrounding valley. Meet at the Trail 1 parking lot. Wear good shoes. A walking stick is recommended. • Birdhouse Building Workshop and “The Great Backyard Bird Count” on Feb. 15 at Prophetstown State Park.
