Don't miss Christmas at the Capitol!

The Friends of the Indiana State Archives are sponsoring the inaugural Christmas at the Capitol on December 13th and 14th at the Indiana Statehouse with Governor Pence and the First Lady. Christmas at the Capitol is a holiday performance by students from nearly a dozen high schools and colleges across Indiana. The program begins at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 13th. The second day of music begins at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 14th.

Christmas at the Capitol is open to the public, refreshments will be available, and families are encouraged to attend. The State Constitutions will be on display in the Rotunda as will the newly-trimmed 2013 Christmas tree.

Quick Update

With most of Indiana covered in snow, we're entering our slow season.

Marker installations are awaiting the Spring thaw, and IHB staff are working hard on research projects and further improvements to the book shop, web site, and blog.

The new year will usher in some great things for our Book Shop customers and marker enthusiasts.  Stay tuned!
