A Huge Success for Indiana!
On April 4th, more than 32 officials represented more than 2,060,000 Indiana residents for Mayor and County Recognition Day to recognize the impact of
National Service in their communities.
Serve Indiana teamed up with Senior Corps and the Indianapolis Mayor’s office to volunteer at the Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana. The initiative is led by the National League of Cities, the National Association of Counties, Cities of Service, and the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS).

Celebrating AmeriCorps Week 2017
In March, we celebrated AmeriCorps Week as a time to salute AmeriCorps members and alums for their service, thank community partners, and communicate AmeriCorps impact on communities and on the lives of those who serve.
Through AmeriCorps, we see the very best of the American spirit – people turning towards problems instead of away, uniting to find community solutions.
At 1,144 sites across #Indiana, the Corporation for National and Community Service creates positive, lasting impact in local communities. That's a $31.2 MILLION investments from CNCS and local sources to support cost-effective community solutions through AmeriCorps and Senior Corps.
