ELECTRIC CUSTOMER SAVINGS
Major settlements the OUCC has negotiated with Duke Energy, NIPSCO, & additional parties will reduce proposed rate increases by more than a half-billion dollars. The IURC has approved the agreement on Duke Energy's 7-year infrastructure plan, reducing upcoming rate increases by nearly $400 million from the utility's original request. Also, the Commission recently approved agreements on NIPSCO's electric rate case & 7-year infrastructure plan, providing consumers with more than $130 million in benefits.

JULY = SMART IRRIGATION MONTH It's rained enough lately that most of us haven't needed to water the lawn. But summer is far from over. The OUCC joins the irrigation industry, water utilities, & more stakeholders in observing Smart Irrigation Month, & pointing out the benefits of efficient water use.
