PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE
Indiana Utility Consumer Counselor David Stippler participated in this month's groundbreaking ceremony at the St. Joseph Energy Center near New Carlisle, Ind. In congratulating & thanking the project's partners, he noted that this natural gas-fired power plant is the type of market-driven solution that will help position Indiana to meet its future energy needs.

APRIL IS SAFE DIGGING MONTH
It's an annual reminder to call 811 at least 2 days before digging, or complete the form at www.811now.com. The utility lines in your yard may be shallower than you think. There's no charge for having them marked, and it may keep you from having a major problem.

OUR MISSION
To represent all Indiana consumers to ensure quality, reliable utility services at the most reasonable prices possible through dedicated advocacy, consumer education, and creative problem solving.

STAY SAFE!
If a power line is down, always assume it is live. Also, stay at least 15 feet away from a downed line. Those are just 2 of our tips to stay safe this spring.
