Did you know that our staff helped Indiana ratepayers save more than $392 million in the state's most recent fiscal year? Our newly issued 2014-2015 Annual Report looks at the OUCC's recent accomplishments and offers an update on key utility issues facing all Hoosier consumers.

IPL RATE CASE & INVESTIGATION We are recommending a major reduction in the rate increase Indianapolis Power & Light Co. (IPL) is requesting, while recommending swifter action to address its downtown infrastructure needs. An IURC hearing starts in mid-September.

COMMENTS INVITED ON CITIZENS WATER RATES 
The OUCC has until October 13 to file testimony in the Citizens Water rate case. In the meantime, our attorneys and technical staff are busy reviewing the request. Consumers have the chance to speak on the record at the IURC's upcoming public field hearing, set for September 16 at Emmerich Manual High School. The OUCC is also inviting written consumer comments.

VECTREN CUSTOMER SAVINGS  Vectren natural gas customers will save more than $1.6 million due to the OUCC's advocacy in the utility's most recent cost recovery cases. Our website has more information including the IURC's orders.
