MAKE YOUR PLEDGE: 2018-2019 State Employees’ Community Campaign is live!

The SECC kickoff party took place on Thursday, August 30 at the Statehouse Market on the Indiana Government Center campus. There was live music, food trucks, on-site participation from several 501(c)(3) organizations, special guests and a dunk tank! DOR Commissioner Adam Krupp, the 2018-19 SECC Chairman, introduced his charity of choice Project 44 at the event. Project 44 is a non-profit to encourage signups for Be The Match Registry. The project began in 2016 to honor former Butler basketball player Andrew Smith, whose wife, Samantha, attended the kickoff. Also in attendance was First Lady Janet Holcomb and First Dog Henry Holcomb. The First Lady thanked employees for their service and encouraged employees to give back through charitable contributions.

With each and every step, participants in the Go365 National Step Tournament 2018 can do their part to end food insecurity. One million meals, divided across winning teams, will be donated to Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization, in the name of the winning teams’ respective companies.

Start preparing for Open Enrollment 2019

Open Enrollment is just around the corner. Take time now to carefully review each plan offering and determine which options best meet your family’s health care needs.

A few tips to help you get started

  • Know the dates: Mark your calendars for the 2019 Open Enrollment season. It begins October 24 and ends November 14 at Noon (est).
  • Review this year’s medical, vision and dental expenses.
  • Examine how much you contribute to your Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
  • Understand your insurance needs.
  • Review your dependents and beneficiaries.
  • If you are married: compare your coverage against your spouse’s.
