Ja'Niyah McMichael

A Statewide Silver Alert has been declared.

The Gary Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Ja’Niyah McMichael, a 13 year old black female, 4 feet 3 inches tall, 101 pounds, black hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pajamas and black and red shoes.

Ja’Niyah is missing from Gary, Indiana which is 151 miles northwest of Indianapolis and was last seen on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 11:00 pm. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
