Medora Man Arrested on Possession of Child Pornography Charges

Yesterday, March 12, 2024, Indiana State Police Detectives arrested a Jackson County, Indiana man on multiple counts of Possession of Child Pornography after a three-month investigation by Indiana State Troopers assigned to the Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The investigation began in December 2023 when a cybertip was received from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.  The tip was then forwarded to the Indiana ICAC Task Force to investigate.  The investigation led to a search warrant being served yesterday at a residence in the 9000 block of West US 50 near Medora, Indiana.

During the investigation, multiple images of suspected child pornography were found on social media accounts and electronic devices allegedly belonging to Paxston A. Allman, age 19, Medora, Indiana.

Allman was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail where he was incarcerated on preliminary charges of Possession of Child Pornography (9 counts).  He will soon face an initial appearance in the Jackson County Circuit Court.

Indiana State Police Detectives were assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
