Traffic Stop Leads to An Arrest in Fulton County

Fulton County – Yesterday morning, May 22, 2023, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Trooper Adrianna Ward was patrolling US 31 south of Rochester City when she stopped the driver of a 2019 Ford for driving 102 mph. The driver was identified as Michael John Rogers, 29, of Dyer. Rogers displayed signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. Further investigation revealed the driver had a preliminary BrAC of .177%. Rogers was arrested and taken to the Fulton County Jail.

Arrested and Charges:

  • Michael J. Rogers, 29, Dyer, IN
  1. Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated- Prior Conviction, Level 6 Felony
  2. Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated- Endangerment, A Misdemeanor
  3. Reckless Driving, A Misdemeanor
  4. Driving While Suspended- Prior Conviction, A Misdemeanor

Assisting Agencies: Fulton County Sheriff’s Office
