Additional Charges Filed in the Terre Haute Police Involved Shooting 

Vigo County - Jeremy R. Ross, 37, Terre Haute, Indiana, the subject in the Terre Haute Police involved shooting on Friday, March 6, 2020, appeared in Vigo Superior Court 3 today at 10:00 a.m.  During his initial court proceedings Ross had additional charges filed against him (see below).  Ross remains in custody in the Vigo County Jail where he is being held on a $150,000 bond.  

No further information is available.

Arrested and Charges:  Jeremy R. Ross, 37, Terre Haute, IN

  • Attempted Murder, (2 counts), Level 1 Felony
  • Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon, (2 counts) Level 4 Felony
  • Possession of Altered Handgun, Level 5 Felony
  • Resisting Law Enforcement, Level 6 Felony
  • Possession of Paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor
  • Possessing a Look-A-Like Substance, Class C Misdemeanor

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
