Indiana State Police, Homeland Security and Ellettsville Police conduct Drug Investigation that leads to Felony Arrest

Monroe County – Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section Investigators, Homeland Security along with Ellettsville Police Officers conducted a drug investigation that led to the felony arrest of Eddie Baker Jr II, 25 of Bloomington on Thursday, October 4th.

On 09/26/2018, ISP Investigators from the Drug Enforcement Section launched the investigation and found evidence of illegal drug activity leading to Baker. As the investigation continued, witnesses were interviewed and evidence was collected. Probable Cause was established and a search warrant was requested for the residence located at 811 S. Larkspur Lane from a Judge of the Monroe County Court.

The search warrant was granted and the investigation concluded with officers seizing over 60 pounds of marijuana and $110,000 in cash being recovered as part of the investigation that led to the arrest of Baker.

Dealing in Marijuana, IC 35-48-4-10; Level 5 Felony
