Renewal Information

  • Renew online using Access Indiana, Single Sign-on at MyLicense.IN.gov.
  • Be sure to read each question thoroughly and answer appropriately for your situation.
  • All active RN Compact licenses with automatically renew online with the RN renewal.  The fee will be an additional $25.00 plus online processing fees.
  • You must renew your RN license before renewing any Nurse Midwife, APRN, and/or CSR. Failure to do so will delay renewal. You will answer questions for the RN license and each affiliated license as well as make separate payment transactions for each. Please review all questions carefully as they may have changed since the previous renewal.  
  • If you have an Active ePrescribing Waiver, it must be renewed along with the associated Controlled Substance Registration. There is no fee to renew an ePrescribing Waiver, but you will need to complete a separate renewal process. Like the initial Waiver application, the renewal must be approved by the Pharmacy Board.
  • If you have an Active Telehealth Certification, it must be renewed after you renew your associated license(s). There is no fee to renew your Telehealth Certification, but you will need to complete a separate renewal process. Your Telehealth Certification number should begin with the letters TH. If you do not have a Telehealth Certification number and would like one, you may apply at MyLicense.IN.gov.
  • The renewal fee is $50 for a RN license, $25 for the RN Compact license, $50 for a Nurse Midwife license, $10 for an APRN, and $60 for each CSR renewed. Additional online processing fees apply.  
  • Review APRN continuing education requirements prior to license renewal to ensure you are in compliance with all rules and regulations. The statutes and rules regarding CE requirements can be found on our CE requirements webpage.
  • Effective July 1, 2019 individuals renewing a controlled substance registration are required to have completed two hours of continuing education in opioid prescribing and abuse.
  • Acceptance by the system of your renewal fee does not guarantee renewal. Please check your license status approximately 24 hours after completing this process to verify renewal with an updated expiration date.
  • Please make sure your email address and phone number are up-to-date before submitting the renewal. CSR address changes must be submitted by email at least 24 hours prior to renewing online.
  • License cards may be purchased or printed for free online after your renewal has been processed. Please ensure your license has been updated before ordering a card by using the Search and Verify page.
  • If you apply for renewal of your license or registration after October 31, 2023, 11:59 p.m. EST, you will be assessed a $50.00 late fee for each expired renewal, in addition to the standard renewal fee and online processing fees. There are no exceptions.
