Starting with the Oct. 12, 2025 CCDF reauthorizations, an applicant or co-applicant may request a full-time or part-time voucher. We encourage you to speak to the families in your care about which option is best suited for their needs.
Full-Time Vouchers
Full-time weekly care is defined as care provided for at least three days or more per week for any child.
If a family chooses a full-time voucher, the days that the child does not attend that week will be marked as absences. If the child is consistently not scheduled to attend the same day each week, then that is marked as an off-day.
Part-Time Vouchers
Part-time weekly is defined as care provided for two days per week for any child.
If an applicant or co-applicant requests two days of child care per week for any child, the Eligibility Office will create a part-time voucher. The voucher will be reimbursed at one-half of the full-time weekly subsidy.
If a part-time voucher is requested, mark the remaining days as off-days. If a child does not attend two days that week, these days will be marked as absent. The off-days for a part-time voucher do not have to be on the same days each week.
Part-time vouchers will still reflect the full-time weekly subsidy rate on the provider portal, but the payment will be one-half of the normal reimbursement rate and will be reflected on the payment details report.
