Get to Know the Micro-Facility Pilot Program
Dear Provider,
We're thrilled to introduce the Micro-Facility Pilot Program — a brand-new initiative aimed at expanding access to quality child care in Indiana. The program is designed to support you in opening new, non-residential child care facilities, called micro-facilities.
What is a Micro-Facility?
Micro-facilities are non-residential sites that serve between three and 30 children. They function as an extension of your existing program and can share resources and administrative support with your original location. Micro-facilities can also be set up in creative spaces like schools, libraries, shopping malls, and more. Check out this flyer for more information.
Why Should You Apply?
Here are just a few reasons to consider joining this innovative pilot:
-
Grow Your Program and Boost Sustainability: Streamlined regulations and shared resources help you grow while reducing costs.
-
Get Support Every Step of the Way: Partner with an expert who will assist you through the entire process — from application to licensing to opening your program.
-
Help Shape the Future of Child Care: Collaborate with State partners to inform policymaking and transform Indiana's child care landscape.
