Join a February Group Coaching Cohort
SPARK Group Coaching is a virtual coaching opportunity for programs to gain knowledge around various topics with the help of a coach and peers. These virtual coaching sessions cover topics like Infant Toddler, Paths to QUALITY™ Level Advancement and Maintenance, and "Enhance Child Development and Family Growth: A PEER-Centered Approach." Each group coaching opportunity lasts two to three months and offers an excellent opportunity to learn and ask questions from a coach and a small group of colleagues.
Learn and grow in a collaborative environment with like-minded providers on similar paths to improving their programs. Registration is now open for six coaching opportunities in February, including:
- Infant Toddler Group Coaching for Family Child Care Programs Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. ET from February 20 to March 26

Become a Professional Development Specialist™
There is a continued need for experienced early childhood professionals to serve as CDA Professional Development (PD) Specialists™. PD Specialists play a critical role in the CDA® assessment process. They use their early childhood education expertise to assess CDA candidates' competencies and facilitate reflective conversations with the candidates.
A good applicant for PD Specialist enjoys mentoring, coaching, meeting new people, and observing educational environments. If you are interested in learning more about the PD Specialist role, please join an informational session from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. ET on February 15. Registration is not required — join the session by using this link.

Learn About School-Age Child Care Grant
Grant funds are available for school-age child care through the State-funded School-Age Child Care Project fund. The School-Age Child Care Grant (SACC) aims to increase the availability and affordability of high-quality school-age child care for Indiana families. Schools or non-profit organizations (501C3) that are regulated by OECOSL are eligible if they:
- Offer before and after school care or school break care (excluding summer) to children ages 5-14 years old
- Have been operating for at least one full year before applying
