Get our latest updates and join us Wednesday,  August 4th for our Provider Listening Session!

Dear Indiana Early Care and Education Providers,

We’d like to update you on the success of our state’s Build, Learn, Grow program initiatives and invite you to participate in an upcoming listening session to inform our state’s use of remaining and future recovery funding.

First a few updates:

  • To date, we have paid out millions of dollars to support children, families and providers across our state through Build, Learn, Grow program initiatives.
  • The deadline is approaching to use your program’s one-time Equipment and Supply Allowance. Be sure to order your program’s health and safety supplies from the expanded Fastenal list no later than July 31.

  • The family scholarship fund has been extended to March 2022. Don’t miss your chance to increase your enrollment and help families in your community by accepting and claiming scholarships.
  • Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) claims are now being accepted for meals provided between May and September. Review the FAQs for more information
  • Complete the Fundamentals for Business Sustainability training by the end of next month. This is required for any programming participating in any Build, Learn, Grow program initiative. Learn more here.

We want to hear from you! Please join us for one of our upcoming provider listening sessions taking place on Wednesday, August 4th. To make participating easy, we are offering three convenient times. In order to join the meeting you must register! Once registered you will receive a confirmation email that contains call-in details.

Your ideas and input will help inform how we use the remaining Build, Learn, Grow funds and American Rescue Plan funding that is still to come.

Sincerely,

Nicole Norvell, Director
