Dear ECE and OST Programs,

Exciting work is underway on the Build, Learn, Grow program to help connect more families to high-quality early childhood education opportunities and provide long-term recovery to the ECE/OST industry. We invite you to stay up to date on the plan and join us for a webinar on Tuesday, May 25. Two sessions will be offered:

With many of our initiatives now launched, here are a few reminders for your program:

  1. To receive Build, Learn, Grow scholarships from eligible families, please complete the 30-minute Build, Learn, Grow Information Session in Indiana Learning Paths. Log in or create a free account at ilead.in.gov. Then click the green "Start Your Indiana Learning Path" button. Choose "Courses" from the menu on the left-hand side, and search "Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship Fund Information Session" to register and start the course.
  2. In partnership with Fastenal and to support updated COVID-19 cleaning protocols, OECOSL is making available one-time equipment and supply allowances to assist programs with purchasing COVID-19 health- and safety-related supplies. Keep an eye out for an invitation in the next week to register with Fastenal and purchase the materials for your program.   3. If you’ve not yet done so, complete the SPARK “Fundamentals for Business Sustainability” training. To access the training, log in to ilead.in.gov and click “Start Your Indiana Learning Path”. Once there, choose “Courses” from the left-side menu. Search for the training name and register. Programs have until Aug. 31, 2021 to complete this training.
  4. Programs can now submit claims for increased CACFP reimbursement for costs incurred during the month of May. Submit CACFP claims as you normally would; the increased reimbursement will apply automatically.
