InfoExpress renewal submissions are now being accepted for the 2021-22 service year. This year's earlier renewal deadline is June 1, but participants will have until July 31 to submit payment.
The Indiana State Library's contract with NOW Courier calls for a 2.5% increase in cost for each of the upcoming two service years. For 2021-22, the State Library is choosing to subsidize the increased cost for all participating libraries. It is anticipated that the rates for libraries will increase by 2.5% in 2022-23. A 2% late surcharge will be added to payments postmarked after Friday, July 31. Service will be suspended effective Monday, Aug. 2 if the full payment is not submitted by July 31. The 2021-22 service year runs from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
For the 2021-22 service year, the subsidized annual subscription cost to libraries for one day of service per week will remain $300. This subsidy is limited to one library per system. Branches are not eligible for this subsidy, nor are corporate libraries or public libraries not meeting standards. The cost for non-subsidized libraries is $910 per service day annually. See the current rates here.
The State Library will continue to offer a resource sharing rate subsidy to qualifying libraries if they subscribe to a second day of service. In order to qualify for this subsidy, the library must meet one of the following criteria: Subscribe to five-day-a-week InfoExpress service; subscribe to an OCLC ILL system; participate as a member of Evergreen Indiana; participate in SRCS; or be a net lender.
Click here to sign in and renew. Renewals must be submitted before June 1 to ensure continuation of service. School libraries are on a modified timeline to accommodate the academic calendar. School renewal requests should be submitted by Sept. 1, and payment is due by Sept. 30 to avoid the suspension of service as of Oct. 1 and a 2% surcharge.
Please contact the InfoExpress coordinator via email or at 317-232-3699 with any questions.
