Traffic pattern change at State Road 3 in Eaton

DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. - Indiana Department of Transportation plans for a traffic pattern change on State Road 3 near Eaton. 

Beginning on or after Tuesday, September 3, crews will install stop signs at the intersection of S.R. 3 and Wheeling Pike/Indiana Ave. The additional stop signs will convert this intersection from a two way stop to a four way stop. The northbound and southbound traffic on S.R. 3 will be required to stop at this intersection. The additional stop signs will increase safety by allowing traffic to slow down and providing an adequate amount of time for turns at this intersection.

INDOT reminds drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using caution and avoiding distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
