Bridge work planned on State Road 67 near Centerton
MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Force Construction Company is scheduled to begin bridge rehabilitation work on southbound State Road 67 approximately half a mile southwest of Centerton on or after Monday, July 15, to complete a small structure replacement project in Morgan County.
Work will take place between North Mason Lane and Rob Hill Road and is expected to be complete by late November, weather permitting. Motorists can expect lane shifts as well as lane closures, while work is in progress. Crews will begin to place signage in the area prior to the start of construction.
This project is part of a $8 million contract awarded to Force Construction in May 2024. The contract includes a total of seven district bridge projects. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
