Clear Path I-465: A Project Update
What to Expect the Rest of This Year
INDIANAPOLIS (April 10, 2024) – Motorists can expect to see more progress in 2024 for the Clear Path 465 project. Construction on the northeast corridor began on the I-465 mainline in 2022 and is expected to wrap up with the I-465 and I-69 interchange by the end of 2025. Click here to view the Construction Guide and see what is ahead for Clear Path 465 in 2024.
Clear Path will improve safety and traffic flow on I-465 and I-69 with added travel lanes, new ramp lanes, 14 new bridges, two rehabilitated bridges and interchange modifications.
You’ll see crews working throughout the corridor this year to keep the project on schedule. Most of the work will focus on bridges in the main interchange, added travel lanes on I-465, and the completion of the 82nd Street ramps.
