S.R. 11 to temporarily close for railroad repairs in Seymour

JACKSON COUNTY, Ind. — CSX Railroad plans to close S.R. 11/Broadway Street next week for railroad crossing repairs in Seymour.

On or after Monday, November 6, S.R. 11/Broadway Street will close to traffic between 2nd Street and U.S. 50 in Seymour. The road is expected to reopen Wednesday, November 8, weather permitting. The detour will follow U.S. 50 East to I-65 North to S.R. 11.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution and avoid distractions in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
