Northbound I-69 to temporarily close for repairs
GRANT COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of northbound I-69 for emergency asphalt restoration.
Starting around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, crews will shut down the northbound lanes of I-69 from mile marker 245 to mile marker 255.
Due to the repair work, northbound I-69 is anticipated to be closed for approximately 12 hours.
During the closure, traffic will be rerouted to State Road 28, State Road 3 and State Road 18.
INDOT encourages drivers to consider worker safety by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
