Road closure planned for State Road 66

POSEY COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 66 near Parkers Settlement.

Beginning on or around Monday, May 8, crews will close State Road 66 near Parkers Settlement for a bridge replacement. This closure will remove and replace the existing bridge over Rock Bottom Creek. Work to replace the bridge is expected to last through mid-June, depending on the weather.

The official detour for this project is State Road 165 to I-64 to State Road 65. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
