Public open house for proposed Reduced Conflict Intersection at US 41 and Elkhorn Road

KNOX COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a public open house for proposed changes to the intersection of US 41 and Elkhorn Road.

A proposed Reduced Conflict Intersection, also known as an RCI, is currently being planned for the intersection of US 41 and Elkhorn Road. Plans call for a partial RCI project utilizing a median U-Turn in order to improve safety at the intersection. Additional lighting is also planned.

WHAT: Public Open House

WHEN: Thursday, November 10th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

WHERE: INDOT Vincennes District Building, 3650 US Hwy 41, Vincennes, In. 47591

Doors for the event open at 5 p.m. Project representatives will be available for questions and comments. Video and graphic presentations will also be available to show what it planned for the intersection.
