US 52 traffic shift starting on or after Oct. 13 for bridge work near West Lafayette

TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces restrictions on U.S. 52 starting on or after Thursday, October 13 for Phase Two of the bridge replacement project over Indian Creek, near West Lafayette. The roadway will be down to one, ten-foot lane in each direction.

The existing, westbound lanes will be restricted between Ross Road and Co. Rd. 400 S. Westbound traffic will be shifted to the eastbound side of the road. The restrictions are expected to last until early-December, weather permitting.

This project was awarded to I.C.C. Group, Inc. for $6 million. It also includes bridge replacements on S.R. 352 at Mud Pine Creek in Benton County and on U.S. 52 over Indian Creek in Tippecanoe County. The entire project is expected to be completed in September of 2023.
