Temporary closures of I-70/State Road 267 ramps starting on or after September 12 near Plainfield
HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. - The Indiana Department of Transportation announces temporary closures of the westbound State Road 267 off-ramp from I-70 on or after Sunday, September 12, and the I-70 eastbound on-ramp from S.R. 267 on or after Monday, September 13. This will allow crews to place a skid-resistant layer on the pavement. Both closures will occur from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on both days, near Plainfield.
This project was awarded to Milestone Contractors, L.P. for over $44 million. This project also includes rehabilitation work on the S.R. 267 bridge over I-70, pavement rehabilitation work at the S.R. 267 and I-70 interchange and various culvert replacements along I-70. The project also includes the installation of signs, lighting, signals and pavement markings along I-70. It's expected to be completed in June of 2023.
