Railroad crossing repairs to close S.R. 39 in Martinsville

MORGAN COUNTY, Ind.— Indiana Southern Railroad plans to close the S.R. 39 railroad crossing in Martinsville starting Saturday, July 23, to perform repairs. The crossing, located between Mitchell Avenue and Morgan Street, is expected to close at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday and reopen by Monday morning, July 25.

Milestone Contractors also plans to complete pavement patching in the area as part of the I-69 Finish Line project while the closure is in place. This work will be rescheduled if needed due to inclement weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones.
