Repairs Coming for Rail Crossing at U.S. 41 and Lynch Road

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures on U.S. 41 in Evansville for repairs at the Lynch Road CSX Crossing.

Beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, March 12, crews working on behalf of CSX will begin making repairs to the southbound crossing at Lynch Road. During the project, motorists should expect lane closures between State Road 66 and S.R. 57. Work will begin in the passing lane and shift to the driving lane. The repair is expected to conclude Tuesday, March 13 at 5 p.m. depending upon weather conditions. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
