State Road 2 Bridge Closure in Porter
County
Bridge Rehabilitation southwest of
Valparaiso
PORTER COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana
Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces the closure of the State Road 2
bridge between CR S 275 W and CR S 100 W, which is southwest of Valparaiso,
beginning Monday, July 13th through early September. Crews will be
restoring the bridge over Sievers Creek.
State road detours must be along
state-maintained roadways only. Drivers travelling south on State Road 2 will
be detoured east on U.S. 30, south on State Road 49, west on State Road 8, and
back to State Road 2. Drivers travelling north on State Road 2 will be detoured
east on State Road 8, north on State Road 49, west on U.S. 30, and back to
State Road 2.
