New Security Threat Group Coordinator at
Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility
Pendleton, Ind. - Warden Mike Minthorn and Deptuy Warden Chris Blakey of the Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility is pleased to announce the promotion of Micheal Baker to Security Threat Group Coordinator.
Sergeant Micheal Baker began his career with Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility (PNJCF) in July 2013. During his time at PNJCF, he served as a Youth Developmental Specialist and Quick Response Team member. He also served with the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) Emergency Response Operations as a Correctional Industrial Facility Emergency Squad Team leader. In 2014, Baker was promoted to a Correctional Sergeant, adjunct instructor for Security Skills & Personal protection, and as a Central Region Situation Control Team member.
In 2017, Mr. Baker accepted a position with the Department of Child Services. He served as the Team Lead for the Employer Maintenance Unit for the Child Support Bureau. In June of 2020, Mr. Baker returned to Pendleton Juvenile Facility to support the Department of Corrections through the COVID-19 pandemic as a Youth Developmental Specialist and Correctional Sergeant. Sgt. Baker accepted the role of Security Threat Group Coordinator in January 2021.
