Students Raise Money for Special Olympics

Logansport, Ind. - Once a year, the Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility’s student population supports a fundraiser for Special Olympics. In past years they participated in a Fire Truck Pull but with safety considerations, the result of the pandemic, a change in plan resulted in a ‘pizza and pop’ theme with proceeds going to the Cass County Special Olympics charity.

Warden Eric Courtney presented a check for $643.50 to local Special Olympics coordinator Enid Callaghan to help fund events sponsored by Special Olympics.

"It is an honor to present the Special Olympics with this check on behalf of the Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility students and staff" said Warden Courtney.
