Branchville Officer Rick Kleeman Retires After 16 Years

Branchville, Ind. - Warden Kathy Alvey congratulates Officer Rick Kleeman on his retirement after 16 years of dedicated service.

Officer Kleeman began his distinguished service with the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) at Branchville Correctional Facility on August 23, 2004 as a correctional officer.  Officer Kleeman has served Branchville in uniform his entire career.  He is often posted to the Main Entrance Gate or on Motor Patrol.

Officer Kleeman' s knowledge and meticulous attention detail are ideal traits for an officer assigned the Main Gate post.  Most mornings Kleeman can be found checking staff in as they report for the day.  He checks all incoming and outgoing delivery trucks with an eagle eye, welcomes visitors and dignitaries to the facility with respect, and answers questions with ease and accuracy.

Branchville sends best wishes to Officer Kleeman and his family on the next phase of his life.  Thank you Officer Rick Kleeman for your 16 years of dedicated service!
