Key Contributors Awards Presented at the
Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility

Pendleton, Ind. – Warden Mike Minthorn, of Pendleton Juvenile Correction Facility, in collaboration with Commissioner Carter and Staff Development and Training, recognized the following contract staff as "Key Contributors" to the successful operations at PNJCF:

Wexford's Alyssia Wright

Mrs. Wright is always willing to help out in any situation. She never says no and is always willing to work with the facility for the best outcome for the students and staff. She has been a vital player in providing key information on the status of students who showed signs and were tested for COVID-19. Mrs. Wright has handled every situation during these trying times with grace and a smile, never letting the stress of the current situation get to her or the work she provides.

Aramark's Laveda Gooley

Ms. Gooley always has a positive attitude and is willing to help out when and where ever needed with a smile. Ms. Gooley has a great working relationship with the students. She takes the time to speak with the students, working at keeping them motivated and focus on the goal at hand and that is to go home. Ms. Gooley’s work ethics is exceptional and she works well with all facility staff as well as students. From keeping the dining hall running smoothly during a specific mealtime, to watching the youth assigned to the area and the overall management of the day to day operations of the food services area, her dedication is greatly appreciated.
