Front Line Heroes Recognized at Putnamville Correctional
Greencastle, Ind.— Custody staff who work in the COVID-19 units at Putnamville Correctional Facility were recognized for their dedication. Officers and sergeants working the “front line” received a bag of stress reducing and immunity boosting snacks, along with a hand written personalized card signed by one of the Executive Staff to say 'Thank You'.
“Our staff working in the COVID-19 units have been unwavering in their dedication,” stated Deputy Warden Hartzell of Putnamville Correctional Facility. Hartzell went on to say, “We realize the extra stress on all staff during the pandemic, and we want our people to know we appreciate and value them and their hard work in these extremely challenging times.”
