Logansport Juvenile Correctional Facility
Honors Silent Hero

Logansport, Ind. -  Who are our Silent Heroes? They are the members of the team who work tirelessly to provide support to the mission of our agency. They are quiet workhorses who don’t complain and rarely appear in the spotlight.

The winner of this award has worked tirelessly in the Recreation Department providing activities and tournaments for our Student Population, this person is are our main facilitator in the Insight Garden Program with instructing group and assisting students in maintaining our beautiful garden. She is a key member of our Employee Appreciation Committee. During this pandemic she has really stepped up and devoted additional time in recognizing our staff with food and drinks. This person also is leading our sewing team that has made masks for all of our staff. This staff member took the lead on this project without hesitation and is 100% on board. She rarely looks for recognition, quietly doing an outstanding job in any task that is given, even if it is not in the job description.

Please help me congratulate Julie Wright as LJCF and Commissioner Carter’s Silent Hero.

Julie Wright

"I appreciate all your hard work and dedication to the team Julie", stated Warden Courtney.
