Thanking Correctional Professionals at
LaPorte Juvenile Correctional Facility

LaPorte Ind.— Historically, last week was when we honor Correctional Employees. Due to COVID-19, we were not able to have as many of the activities as we normally schedule for Correctional Professionals Appreciation Week. Correctional Employees are considered essential staff, and throughout this pandemic,  our employees continue to come into work everyday and protect our students and the public.

Their dedication to the mission of the Indiana Department of Correction, especially in times  such as these, is something to be acknowledged.  It takes a true hero to report to work each and every day, risking their own safety as well as their families to ensure the operations in their individual facilities are maintained

Especially in this time, we want to make sure to thank our staff for all that they do and remind them that we are thinking about them.

Retention & Recruitment Specialist Craig Stoll presented Jeremy Perrine, pictured below, and other staff  at LaPorte Juvenile with  small tokens of appreciation, stating "Thank you for what you do each and every day."

thank you

Craige Stoll, Recruitment and Retention and Jeremy Perrine, Program Director
