Branchville Correctional Facility Staff Recognized During Correctional Professionals' Appreciation Week
Branchville, Ind. - Warden Kathy Alvey and the Branchville Correctional Staff would like to send a huge thank you to Wendy's in Tell City, Indiana.
Branchville Correctional Facility Staff, contractual staff and custody officers are all very appreciative to the Tell City Wendy's Restaurant employees and managers today. The local restaurant opened early to make breakfast sandwiches for the Branchville Correctional Facility in honor of Correctional Professionals' Appreciation Week.
The breakfast sandwiches were passed out to staff at Branchville at 5am, an hour and half before the local restaurant is slated to open to the public. The staff at Branchville had three different breakfast sandwiches to choose from.
The sandwiches were served to staff ending their shifts and those just coming on to shift today. The Branchville correctional staff were especially grateful to the essential employees at Wendy's, for their recognition, support, and yummy sandwiches.
Warden Kathy Alvey, stated “This is Employee Appreciation Week, so the sandwiches were spot on." Warden Alvey went on to say "It was all about the respect our employees have earned and deserve." The staff at Branchville Correctional facility are extremely grateful to the employees and managers at Wendy's Tell City. Warden Alvey concluded, "Our staff have shown so much dedication and bravery during this pandemic and they are heroes and first responders.
