Heroes Working at all IDOC Facilities
New Castle, Ind. – As essential employees of the State of Indiana, the Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) wants everyone to know that Heroes can also be found within the walls and razor wire at each of its correctional facilities.
IDOC employees go to work every day ready to maintain the safety and security of the offenders and staff that work there and of the community at large. And during this time there is even more concern and care taken to make sure people are safe from this invisible threat. Without these essential men and women coming to work every day, the department would not be able to operate.
In order to recognize these individuals signs are being placed near the entrances of all the IDOC facilities stating that "Heroes Work Here." The 4-by-8 foot signs were created at the Indiana Correctional Industries unit at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility.
It's critical at this time to recognize our staff for the important work they are doing and for their dedication to the department. The IDOC is grateful for all they do.
PNJCF wastes no time putting the sign up at their facility.
The Correctional Traiing Institute displays their sign at the front door.
