Wabash Valley Correctional Facility Announces Staff Promotion
Carlisle, Ind. - Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) and Deputy Warden Frank Littlejohn congratulate Daniel Roark on his new position as a correctional sergeant.
Sergeant Roark began his career as a correctional officer at Wabash Valley Correctional Facility (WVCF) on February 29, 2016. During his time at WVCF he has worked in a variety of areas including G Housing Unit, F Housing Unit, P Housing Unit, North Yard, the Secure Confinement Unit and the Custody Control Unit. Sergeant Roark has also obtained his certification as a Quick Response Team Member and a Field Training Officer.
Sergeant Roark has proven his ability to adapt to several assignments requiring he deal with a large variety of both staff and offenders. The knowledge he has gained will prove to be an asset as he takes on his new role as a correctional sergeant
Deputy Warden Littlejohn stated the following concerning Sergeant Roark's promotion. "Sergeant Roark seems ready to take on the challenges of a correctional sergeant. The experience he has gained during his time at the facility will serve as a building block upon which he can develop into the kind of leader that WVCF looks for."
