Investigator Promoted at Indiana State Prison
MICHIGAN CITY, IN- Warden Ron Neal announces the appointment of Aaron Jonas to the position of Investigator III at the Indiana State Prison.
Aaron Jonas was promoted to Investigator III effective October 6, 2019. Mr. Jonas has been with the Department of Correction since 2008 starting his career as a Correctional Officer. He has served as a Field Training Officer and a trip officer. Mr. Jonas was also a member of the Quick Response Team weapons teams. He promoted to Correctional Sergeant in 2013 and remained there until another promotion to Investigator IV in 2017.
Warden Neal stated, “Mr. Jonas has served ISP very well in his former capacity as an Investigator IV. I have no doubt that Aaron will step up to the plate and meet the demands of Investigator III. He is well respected amongst all staff at ISP and is very deserving of this promotion.”
