Conservation Officers seek information from public in death investigation (Warrick Co.)

Indiana Conservation Officers are conducting a death investigation after a body was discovered this morning at the Bluegrass Fish and Wildlife Area in northwest Warrick County.

At approximately 7:30 a.m., a passerby located the body and immediately contacted authorities. The Warrick County Coroner’s Office has taken possession of the body and an autopsy will be scheduled. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification.

Assisting on scene were units from the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, Warrick County Prosecutor’s Office, Indiana State Police, Warrick County EMS, and Chandler Volunteer Fire Department.
