Diwali Festival rescheduled due to inclement weather

CARMEL, Ind., Oct. 20, 2025 - The Diwali Festival will now be held Thursday, Oct. 23 from 5-9 p.m. Originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18, it was cancelled due to inclement weather. The festival has been rescheduled for the safety and comfort of all attendees, performers and vendors.

WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 23, 5 - 9 p.m.
WHERE: 10 Carter Green, Carmel, Ind.
WHO: Mayor Sue Finkam, Carmel City Councilor Dr. Anita Joshi, Diwali Committee

Details to Follow

All planned activities, including cultural performances, food vendors and the Palladiscope display, are expected to proceed on the new date.

A full updated media advisory with complete schedule details will be distributed by end of day Wednesday, Oct. 22
