Upcoming road closures

CARMEL, Ind., Oct. 2, 2025 - Please be advised that the City of Carmel will begin three road closures starting Monday, Oct. 6 to facilitate essential infrastructure improvements.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to enhance our City's infrastructure. Please allow extra time for your commute or seek alternative routes.

MONON GREENWAY AT CITY CENTER DRIVE
Beginning Monday, Oct. 6 through Oct. 31, Phase 3 of the Monon Boulevard expansion requires the closure of the Monon Trail at the tunnel under City Center Drive.

1ST AVENUE NW
1st Avenue NW will be closed to through traffic for utility work. The posted detour route utilizes 2nd Street NW, Range Line Road and 3rd Street NW. This closure will take place during daytime work hours and will reopen in the evening. Work is expected to last two days.

105TH STREET
Starting Monday, Oct. 6, 105th Street between Cornell Avenue and McPherson Street will be closed for up to five days for utility work. The posted detour route will utilize Cornell Avenue, 104th Street and McPherson Street. Access to other properties on the closed block of 105th Street will be maintained from McPherson Street.
