City launches Transportation and Mobility Survey
Your valuable input is needed. The City of Carmel has introduced a Transportation and Mobility Survey to better understand how people move around our city and help shape new potential transportation options in Carmel. In March of 2024, the City launched a Community Engagement Survey with results indicating that nearly two-thirds of the community desired better public transportation options.
In response to this component of the survey, City leaders engaged NineteenEleven Consulting, a firm specializing in community engagement for government agencies, to create a transportation-focused survey.
Beginning now, through Friday, Feb. 21, we'd love to hear your thoughts on how you get around Carmel today and whether a public transportation option could improve the experience for you (or someone you know). Your confidential feedback will directly impact future planning decisions.
To access the survey, click the button below. It is also accessible in multiple languages, simply use the drop-down menu where indicated.

Who are the people in your neighborhood?
Carmel's community is made up of so many fantastic people with big dreams and ideas. From our retail partners in our many districts to teachers, students, artists and good neighbors.
Our "Carmel Connections" video series features Mayor Sue Finkam getting to know members of our community who have invested in Carmel through their various endeavors.
We are excited to highlight Joe Lazzara. Joe’s Butcher Shop and Fish Market on Main Street in the Arts & Design District was founded by Joe and his wife Kathy, in 2006. To view Mayor Finkam's conversation, click this link or the image below.
