The Ice at Carter Green
The Christkindlmarkt has closed for the 2024 season but The Ice at Carter Green is open now through Feb. 2, 2025.

Now through Feb. 2, 2025 Wednesday, Thursday, 4 - 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday, 11:30 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday, 11:30 a.m. - 8 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday for private rentals.

Winter weather information from Republic Services In the event of a major snow or ice storm, Republic Services Trash & Recycling service may be delayed.
This link takes you to Carmel Utilities' website where any delays will be posted on the Important Information front page. Service delays will also be posted on social media sites Nextdoor, Carmel Utilities' Facebook and X accounts.
Please be aware that any news broadcasts concerning trash service with Republic Services in Indianapolis or other communities may not apply to service in Carmel.

Each Carmel Utilities customer is allotted one Christmas tree pick-up per home. Republic Services will collect the tree on the regular service day during the first two weeks of January.
- Trees must be cut in sections of four feet or less. If the tree section is longer than four feet, it will not fit into the cage at the top of the truck.
- Remove all tree bags, ornaments, tinsel and stands.
- Please note that no artificial trees will be accepted.

Holiday lights recycling drive Carmel residents have the opportunity to make this holiday season truly green by recycling holiday lights instead of throwing them away. Now through Friday, Jan. 10, 2025, the community can recycle used and unwanted holiday lights by taking them to White’s Ace Hardware & Garden Center at 731 S. Range Line Rd.

Top ice carvers from around the country will be in Carmel Jan. 17-19 for demonstrations, the People’s Choice sculpture competition and, of course, the fan favorite: speed carving.
